Unfortunately, my communication with the receptionist was less than pleasant. Limited English at the reception made it hard to resolve simple queries. The decor felt somewhat cheap, and the cleanliness in some areas could use improvement.

The Castel Emeraude offered a delightful riverside dining experience featuring a variety of meats and cheeses that were incredibly satisfying.

The signage within the building was somewhat confusing, and it took me a while to navigate my way to my room without getting lost.

The river view from the balcony offers an excellent way to unwind, with the sound of water creating a calming atmosphere. The kitchenette provides a decent setup for light cooking, making it convenient for longer stays.

Upon arrival, I was immediately confronted with price lists plastered everywhere, which felt overwhelming and uninviting. The bathroom felt cramped with minimal towels provided, and the kitchen cabinets were poorly designed, opening the wrong way. Unfortunately, cheap quality furnishings and awkward lighting left the overall experience lacking.

The room was fine, but when I arrived, I was bombarded with price lists all around—absolutley unwelcoming. the bathroom had barely any towels, like, I might as well have gone without. since this is a luxury place, I expected a complimentary welcome package, but it just woudl ve been too much to ask apparently.

lovely gardens, perfect for relaxing by the river, and cozy accommodation with a big fridge and cheerful staff made my stay delightful. the delicious organic breakfast is a must-try!

i had a lovely stay at the emeraude during my time in amélie-les-bains. the peaceful river view and well-equipped kitchen in my studio exceeded my expectations. it was the perfect retreat after cycling.

A wonderful experience with beautiful mountain and river views from the balcony. The spacious room featured a self-catering kitchenette and the peaceful garden provided a perfect setting for relaxation. Though the walk to town took about 20 minutes, the serene atmosphere made up for it.

The room was super well-equipped! Had a kitchenette with a microwave, fridge, and stovetop. Spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower. Loved the comfortable bed and the soundproofing. Plus, enjoyed the outdoor dining area and sun umbrellas near the river. Everything's accessible, including an elevator for easy moves. Great place for families!
